from the studio yesterday…

Hey world out there! Last week I finally cleaned up my studio. I feel like I am finally coming up for air after a huge wholesale project that has been shipped. So, this week I am starting to work on books for the holiday season. Getting started again after a big project is always the hard part for me, so yesterday I just let Marian McPartland + Alicia Keys help me as I covered some boards and made mad lists of things to do.

Here are a few pics of what I got done. They aren’t sewn yet, but they are covered, paper folded, and now ready to be drilled and sewn. These little guys will be caterpillar bindings, like this little guy..

and i know these two are sort of the odd men out.. well really just the blue one.. but i just couldn’t stop thinking about Santa Cruz and Monterey and my friend’s wedding..Blues and blues and blues as far as the eye could see.
