This set of multicolor oil paints is a rare find from the 1950s, made by Marshall’s in the United States. (1) Cadmium, flesh,(1) Chinese blue, and extender are all hard.

This set includes a P.M. Solution cleaner and pre-coating solution and six tubes of oil colors: Flesh, Oxide Green, Cadmium Yellow, Chinese Blue, Indian Brown, and Raw Sienna. The original box is present with its printed instructions and color chart detailing various sets and their contents.
Set appears unused. The bottle of Marlene has either been used or evaporated. Other than the tube of Dryer all oils are still sealed however, the cheek color has leaked and is “stuck” to the box, I did not attempt to remove.

Vintage Marshall’s Transparent Photo Oil Colors No. 2 set This was an Estate Sale find. Comes in original box and many of the tubes are still full BUT we cannot guarantee that the material is still in working condition or useable. Please consider this a collectible prop, instead of art/photo supply. Many of the tubes appear to be unused, but compound have oozed out of the tubes and show corrosion, rust, or drying out.The marlene bottle is empty, but the turpentine & liquid medium are both full or nearly full. Please review all photos as they are part of description.
