Tips specially engineered for acrylic paint, better paint flow, smoother line Easy to fill and reuse over and over again, saving money for you Holds around 12 to 14ml of paint, approximately 1/2 ounce Replacement tips readily available in round or oblique styleThis listing is for the quantity of empty paint pens stated in the title. These pens use tips from Japan specifically designed and manufactured to work well with acrylic paint. The “open” weave in the tips is engineered for long chain polymer paint such as acrylic. Smoother flow, more uniform loading of the tip with the paint at the point where it contacts the surface of the work, all leading to a better painting experience and better art work. These empty paint pens are reusable and refillable and will provide long use. Best of all you get to chose or mix the exact color that you art calls for rather than having to select from premade “store” colors. Replacement tips are available as well. These are rugged nibs and are ideal for painting rocks, wood, metal, and other rough surfaces. You can also use these paint pen markers for painting glass. Please note: I buy pens from several sources to get you the best price available. The cap and barrel color and style may vary a bit from the photos. These easy to fill paint pens are ideal for artists. The tip is 4.5mm at the base, and tapers down to about a 2mm thick writing surface – great paint markers for calligraphy as well as signs and fabric decoration. With their firm tips, you can use these paint pens for shoes and leather. These pump paint pens use sturdy aluminum barrels. They are light weight, resistive to almost all inks, stains, paints, thinners, and solvents. My customers have used them with paint and solvents of various types, indelible marker ink, nail polish remover, isopropyl alcohol, MEK, xylene, turpentine, etc). The depression of the nib presses down on a spring-loaded valve in the marker, allowing fluid to flow into the nib. Releasing the nib allows the valve to shut and stop the flow of fluid. Many auto body and paint shops have used these to give to their customers after a paint job. They work quite well as car paint scratch repair pens. It is very easy to fill the markers with the remainder of the paint in the can after the job is done. That way the customer has the exact match for his car should he need to touch up scratches, etc. They are also an excellet tool for furniture touch up stains and kitchen cabinet touch up paint or stains. Learn how to make and assemble a paint pen; just check the photos for a quick, visual, easy to use guide to assembly of the pens – should take less than 1 minute per pen, including filling time.
