R & F Handmade Paints Blending Medium – without drier 188 ml stick

Blending Mediums are made from the Pigment Stick base without pigment. They are ideal for glazing colors, can be worked directly into a color to increase the color’s transparency, or used to blend colors together on the surface. Available with drier and without. The blending medium with drier contains a small amount of Cobalt Manganese to speed up the drying time. The use of a Cobalt Drier can affect color, so best use is to work colors on top of it after it has been laid down on the surface. Available in sticks and jars.

R & F Handmade Paints Encaustic Paint

Encaustic paint color cakes are composed of beeswax, damar resin, and pigments. In a molten state the cakes are applied to an absorbent ground and then fused or re-melted to achieve a range of effects, from glass-like smoothness to rich impasto-like textures.The 40 ml. cake measures 1 1/4 in. x 2 1/2 in. x 3/4 in. The 104 ml. cake measures 3 1/2 in. x 1 1/2 in. x 1 1/4 in.
