These nibs measure approximately 4.35 x 26.3mm (.17 x 1 inch). These are excellent general purpose nibs to use with low viscosity fluids such as alcohol based paints, stains, inks; acrylic and latex paint, which of course requires dilution, and other colorants. The medium spacing of fibers in the nib helps control the flow of fluid to the tip and helps prevent blobs, blotches and other problems cause by excess ink at the tip, while still allowing sufficient pigment transfer.
