just drive or bye bye summer.

Hey y’all, it’s about that time for summer to leave us again. For those of us whose lives are still somehow affected by the weight of that news, I just wanted to take a moment. For me, this was a good summer, full of work but equally full of play. I love the permission summer gives us to somehow try to equalize those parts of our lives more. Summers are pretty sweet that way. So anyway to say thank you and goodbye to summer I am posting a visual top twenty, cliff notes version of my latest playcation/road trip through northern california, into central oregon and back down the coast again. And I tell you if I don’t remember anything else about this year, I will remember these moments because standing in the places where I made each one of these pictures literally blew me away. This is a beautiful world—true story—and summer is the perfect excuse to roam around and explore it for yourself. The only thing better is if you can grab a friend, a map, pack a cooler and just drive until you can’t do anything else but stop at the water’s edge.
