new books at anthropologie this autumn.

Well the day has come. roughdrAftbooks have been spotted out in the world, once again with the help of good ole anthropologie who is including them as part of the autumn stationery assortment which is found online and in stores across the country starting, er —right now. These books are the product of a long hot summer of making right here in philadelphia with a lot of help from friends, family & interns. (more on this later!)

There are 4 styles featured this autumn, three of which are part of a larger series called the trees of north america. Anthropologie will carry wild cherry, black spruce and white pine tree books respectively.

Also included in the assortment is this little hand painted wonder, they like to call the poet journal. It is hard bound with lined pages inside and has the ever-present e-version word definition, this time for the word poetry. The colorful spine is a cheat sheet in disguise of inspiration to jog your creative juices should you find yourself stuck with a bout of writer’s block.
