This was another amazing collaboration to work on. It was the perfect synthesis of being able to do put something out into the world with a client whose goals I admired & wanted to champion. These journals were made to help promote and raise money for the Philadelphia based organization, Blues Babe. It was founded by singer songwriter Jill Scott with the hope of assisting students in under served communities with aspirations for getting and staying in college. The journals were hand painted and sewn in four styles that when together, spell out the word BLUE: B is for brilliant, L is for luminous, U is for unison and E, is for elevate.
