coming up for air
Today was a beautiful day for floating and staring at clouds, for taking it easy. It’s especially sweet to me because I have just finished a three month project that was completed last week. For me it’s been a summer full of scheduling, sewing, cutting, gluing, sewing, interns, long days, deadlines and more sewing. I love intense periods of work followed by intense periods of play, but this was a long one. I’ll definitely share more about the project next week but ultimately it was a really great experience—just not a restful or lazy one, not like summer is supposed to be. Today was though, perfect, lazy, slow and full of blue skies and bright yellow tubes floating down a river.
