Up for sale is a two-pad artist sketch pad of my design made of blue paraffin infused double walled cardboard hammered flat. Bound with sailcloth nylon and Watling Fruit Gum tokens I metal detected in SC. Two pads of 11 sheets. I have scratched designs on the outside of other sketch books like this one, and applied heat to make the paraffin melt again. Be careful, the wax can rub off. I make them to look old, what I would want a sketch pad to look like for myself. I don’t t think it will deteriorate if kept dry. When it’s filled, the entire thing can be dipped in hot wax to permanently seal the art inside. I have always considered my sketchbooks a collaboration between myself and the artist who fills it.
