ICE PEARL PIGMENT - Sparkle ICE WHITE Ice pearl pigments, also known as glass flakes, are a type of colourant used in paints, coatings, and other applications to create a unique and highly reflective surface. Ice pearl is a type of glass that contains boron trioxide, which gives it a unique set of properties including high strength, durability, and resistance to thermal shock however maybe more importantly is that they offer an unrivalled diamond like Sparkle unique to this type of pigment. Ice pearl pigments are made by melting glass rods or tubes and then crushing the resulting glass into small flakes or particles. The flakes are then coated with a thin layer of metal or other material to create a reflective surface. The size and shape of the flakes can vary depending on the desired eff.
